Elizabeth Todd, experienced litigator and Certified Mediator, empowers people to resolve their disputes without the extensive fees, time, or aggravation of litigation. However, even if you are already in litigation, Elizabeth can still serve as Mediator to the parties; please inquire with your legal counsel.
Elizabeth holds dual certifications issued by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission as both a Civil Law Mediator and Family Law (“Family Financial”) Mediator. She must recertify with the Dispute Resolution Commission annually to maintain these certifications.
Elizabeth Todd has practiced law for over 25 years and she has handled claims/lawsuits as both a plaintiff’s attorney and a defense attorney in both state and federal courts. She has handled numerous types of claims including but not limited to business/contract disputes, construction defects, property and insurance claims, personal injury resulting from car accidents, medical malpractice, copyright infringement and real estate related disputes. She has participated in hundreds of mediations. With this experience Elizabeth brings not only a keen understanding of the dispute resolution process, but empathy for all parties to a dispute.
What Elizabeth Will Do For the Parties
While Elizabeth is an attorney licensed to practice law in North Carolina, she will not advise any party concerning the legal merits of their claim. Elizabeth will fully dedicate her time and skill toward a mutually acceptable conclusion to your dispute or claim. Please read Mediation Agreements, which can be downloaded on this site, concerning the duties of both the Mediator and the Parties in private non-litigated settings.
